This is a quote that I like very much and that can be applied to all animals in general but huskies, the real animals of the Arctic, with their light-colored eyes seem to really show their souls.
The husky safari is a must-do activity that should be on your schedule and is definitely one of the most famous experiences that can be done here. As an animals lover, the wellness and safety of the dogs was a priority to me and I had a visit to the Raitola Reindeer and Husky farm before deciding to book a safari. I am happy to reassure you that the animals are treated very well and with due care and that they receive a good dose of cuddles.

You will get picked up straight at your hotel door and go to visit the reindeer farm and get familiar to the Lappish culture about these farms. The is time to start the ride with your pack of huskies who will greet you and take you on an adventure into the woods. They are extremely friendly and sweet, is a really unique experience that will melt your heart.
You can also become the musher and control your sled in the directions you would like to go and you will have the chance to admire Rovaniemi through the forests.

Elvira tip: The Husky hugging is a beautiful experience for adults and children where you can spend your time petting, hugging, and kissing a husky. All dogs are friendly and you will receive a postcard of your favorite husky beside the number of photos you can make! In case you feel scared of riding, don’t worry! During the warm season, you can go hiking with the huskies. You will get one husky and once you arrived at the farm you will get to know your dog by name and what he or she is able to do.
