An experience to remeber

Opened in 1974, Mr.Chow started in London in 1968 and continues to enjoy generations of devoted clients from art, fashion, music, and entertainment. Art, celebrity, and superb cuisine all blend together in this stylish restaurant in the heart of Beverly Hills. It has always been an institution for Hollywood’s biggest stars and its loyal clients. Award-winning Executive Chef Yi Jia Qian is one of the most respected and innovative chefs in Chinese cuisine. He was the youngest chef to receive the Special Gold Award in the Young Chef Culinary Competition at the 2006 Shanghai International Restaurants Expo. 

Mr.Chow is a combination of old authentic Beijing and Original Recipes. Chicken Satay, Mr. Chow Noodles, and Ma Mignon all were created by passionate and skillful chefs. On the Menu is one of the best prepared Beijing Duck in the world.

The garlic noodles, made in-house by hand, are delicious, and the Peking duck is served in the traditional, centuries-old manner. Gambler’s duck, crispy and redolent of ginger, is similarly served with steamed pancakes and hoisin sauce. Chicken Joanna and the off-the-menu spare ribs are other house favorites. Some interesting dishes include the turnip puffs, squid ink rice noodles, and sautéed lily bulb. The wine list is small and changes very little. The high-profile clientele includes celebrities, entertainment industry movers and shakers, and a corps of hip artists and connoisseurs who identify with the owner, designer-painter-collector Michael Chow, a self-proclaimed Renaissance Man. Be forewarned, the dinner you have at Mr. Chow can easily turn into one of the most expensive Chinese meals you’ve ever had, with surprisingly little Chinese authenticity.
